ONLINE CAKE SHOP
All website cake shop deliveries are carried out between 11am-2:30pm on your selected date. If you need your cake by a specific time, we recommend a pickup option or having your cake collected or delivered the day before your event. Any cakes delivered the day before must remain boxed and refrigerated until required for display the following day. Please note that any cakes decorated with fresh flowers must be collected or delivered on the same day of your event to ensure the flowers remain in good condition.

CUSTOM CAKES
When submitting your enquiry/order, you will be prompted to select your preferred pickup time and we will do our best to meet this request depending on scheduling. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee a preferred time slot for delivery. However, a suitable delivery time will be scheduled pending confirmation of your order, which will always coincide with your event date and time.

Single tier cakes and cupcakes can be safely transported in their enclosed boxes (provided by us) on either the passenger floor or in a secure catering tray in the boot of your car; with the air-conditioning on and driving slowly around the corners. If someone is accompanying you for your collection, the passenger may also hold the cake securely for the journey. For larger tiered cakes, we always recommend our delivery service to ensure they will arrive safely (fees apply). Buttercream will soften during transport, therefore, we recommend storing your cake back in the fridge as soon as you arrive at your destination.

During warmer Summer weather, we recommend running the air conditioning in your vehicle for 10-15 minutes prior to collection to allow the cool air to circulate. This will ensure your cake won't melt during transport, particularly if you have a long way to travel.

We don't recommend pickups for tiered cakes as a standard. As the cake size and number of tiers increases, the more likely damage may occur during transport if proper care isn't taken. The risk is even greater during warmer weather. Therefore, we always recommend utilising our delivery and setup service.

2-TIER CAKES
If customers are comfortable picking up and transporting their cakes safely, small and medium size 2-tier cakes can be made available for pickup. Tiered cakes are quite heavy and tall, and therefore must be transported in their enclosed box on a flat surface. They should not be held or placed on any car seats, and extra care must be taken around corners, bumpy roads and speed bumps. Upon pickup, the cake will be fully inspected by the customer and Bel Bear Bakes is not responsible for any damage that may occur during transport once any cake has left our studio. When choosing not to utilise our delivery service, it is up to the customer to determine and coordinate a setup time and arrangement with their venue or provider. If your cake is not going directly on display, it will need to be stored in a fridge or cool room beforehand, and such arrangements can be discussed with your venue prior to ordering.

3-TIER CAKES
Unfortunately, due high risk of damage during transport, we're unable to offer pickup options for any large extended height 2-tier cakes, or any cakes consisting of 3 or more tiers.
